at first i wasn't angry, simply because i didn't want to be mad at him. it's like i'm so far away from my family that i just did not want to be upset at him.
i call him back, and he went off on me, because jim got drunk this weekend. like it was all my fault...as if i was shoving drinks down my brother's throat. he doesn't seem to think it is a big thing reading my livejournal, so i think it's time to retire this one, and get a new one. it's not like i'm trying to hide anything, i just don't agree with my parents reading my JOURNAL. so, i'm going to try to find another code, and if you want the new name, just IM me.

well there's TWO that are on my mind. one makes me sad, the other makes me very very happy.
boy #1. you have no idea what it is to feel this way. because you have forgotten that i exist. i have stopped iniating conversation with you because it hurt me too much when you would not show the enthusiasm i wished for. i know i am an idiot for continuing to feel this way, for still thinking about the times you held me. i fell for you, boy. i never set out to fall for you. i just wanted to kiss you, i told myself over and over. i just want to makeout with him. instead i got a month of guessing, a month of holding hands and hugs, and a month of happiness. but the feeling of being forgotten makes reliving that month so much harder.

oh man what a weekend.
it was definitely family weekend. my brother, "step brother" [dan], and surrogate brother [conor] were all up here. it was honestly a blast.

friday night my father came to drop jim off, and we all went to cracker barrel for dinner. god, that place has amazing food. it was nice to see my dad, who i felt like i hadn't talked to in a year. i love that guy. after dinner, we got a movie, 'orange county', and went back to the dorm, where me, jessica, jim and later on kris, hung out for the night. we laughed a lot, kris had his free glow stick from halloween usa which he annoyed me with. the usual friday chill night.

saturday started out with tailgating with the ryans. amazing food, and jessica's mom and her friends were absolutely adorable. the game was fun, me jessica conor and jim stood together, unknowingly right next to justin fields...silly. conor and jim loved the pep stuff...they were cracking me up. after the game, we went back to the room for a bit, then more tailgating, then napping and we were joined by dan. i took a ghetto picture because he dressed up in his ghetto gear for my lovely neighbors across the hall WHO WENT HOME FOR THE WEEKEND. shoot, dan was all ready to hook up with one of them. anyway. after meijering it up with dan and jim, and dying jim's hair (dark brown, the exact color i think i'm going to dye mine), we went over to mark's (natalie's cousin's boyfriend's) house. we just sat around for a while, played foosball, football (dan threw up?) and listened to SHANIQUA and some neal diamond. after mark's it was over to steve's. jess and conor went back to the dorm, but dan, jim and i continued on. yeah, needless to say jim got really drunk, i was pretty buzzed and dan was just a hardass. jim was hilarious on the way home...as we were walking home, we walked right by three cops on horses that jim thought was the funniest thing ever. he kept saying "ali, ali, are the horses gonna get us??" it was an interesting night to say the least.

sunday was all about getting the room back together and time for the boys to go home. my parents came up and took jim and me out to lunch. it was nice seeing my mom, i missed her so much. it was a fun afternoon. then i caught up on sleep, and jessica ended the night talking about our weddings and whatnot. so cute.

today was a monday. i'm always recovering on mondays. i'm so tired, but my cousin, katy, and i are going out tonight. i haven't seen her in like two years, honestly. so it's going to be fun.

tonight was one of the best nights i have had in a long time.
the show was incredibly amazing, in every way.
katie and kris met in our dorm. jimmy johns, bathroom hand dryers, kris and my usual banter and booty shakin', and visits to andy's [and THE bathroom] started the evening.
the four of us headed to the show (andy was meeting us there later...snowboard club or whatever). we also realized that kris & katie matched, as did jess and i. so sweet. go state.
jess, katie, and i decided to sit up in the balcony so we could see. good choice.

-moneen: althought i don't know TOO much of their stuff, they played well, i rocked out hard to 'are we happy now?' and the lead singer gyrated hilariously and the guitar player had dreads...which i might try out. they are very cute, and i got an amazing hoodie that i am in love with.

-taking back sunday: they never disappoint. adam is honestly the hottest man ever. i felt like the biggest teenybopper watching him, mouth open, in awe at the good looks this man holds. not only that, their set was soo good. i sang along the entire time, and katie and i were definitely acting out the songs.
and for the best part...

-saves the day: honestly, i don't understand how anyone who loves saves the day as much as i do could have thought their set sucked. it was honestly the most amazing choice of songs and performance of them. chris looks adorable with a guitar in front of him. and what made it even better, i don't think jessica, kris and i stopped dancing the entire time. we honestly danced our asses off. we laughed the entire time, and sang along at the top of our lungs. 'nightingale' almost made me cry. i sang 'this is not an exit' to jessica (that is the one i wanted to hear the most). kris jessica and i slowdanced. we threw our bows to just about every song. jessica and i held each other during the end of 'rocks tonic'. and when we didn't know the words (to the new songs), we just dance dance danced. katie and andy laughed constantly at us. it was honestly the most fun i have ever had at a show. i did not want it to end.

so to jessica, kris, katie, & andy: thank you for making this evening absolutely amazing. you all absolutely rule. <3<3
p.s. our hot new item andy and katie are so darn cute!! i can't get over it!!
but not cuter than brooks and jessica. but hey, who is??

this weekend ended up being a blast. jessica and i had a cute friday night (as always, shopping and trip to blockbuster). we laughed a lot. i went out in the rain because i HAD to get a 12 pack of diet coke, tostitos, and fruit. i looked fucking hilarious. i wish i would've taken a picture of it. anyway. andy showed up later that night, with no hair! yes, that's right kids, he hacked it all off. it looks really good, once you get used to it. he honestly looks like a completely different person.

saturday, i went to the gym. made me feel good. then, after sitting around for a couple hours, we went to cosi (co-si or co-see?) for dinner. amazing food, amazing company. we laughed a lot, tried to make some top 10 lists, went to cvs and bought kleenex. you know the usual. back at the dorm, we watched the most fucked up movie ever. 'may.' holy shit. the three of us were honestly screaming at the top of our lungs because it was that fucT up. we must have sounded pretty funny though.
after the movie, i went down to katie's room to see what was happenin for the night. kris met us at our dorm, and after dancing with the ghetto crew across the hall, and after andy squared posed for pictures, me kris katie and andy (not brooks, the other andy) were off for the night. we had fun, walking around east lansing, because there was nothing going on. but the four of us (and then three of andy's friends) laughed a lot. we ended up at andy's dorm for the evening and we just sat around and talked. good night all around.

sunday was a work day as usual. as was monday, except monday night we watched pumpkin and that movie was gay. god it makes me mad.

today i did laundry for the first time. and talked to danny. i really miss him. today is my biology exam, which i studied so hard for, so i best do good. andddddd then TAKING BACK SUNDAY/SAVES THE DAY/MONEEN show!
i am so excited for tonight.

so the most amazing thing happened tonight in my educational psych class tonight.
i got to read aloud from the 5th harry potter book in class.
so sweet.
it definitely made that three hour class go by faster.
but my paper being ripped to shreds that i wrote for it definitely was not cool. whateva.
oh and i failed my poli sci test, as i figured i did. but it's cool because he grades on this major curve and whatnot. people have failed everyone of his tests and 4.0 the class.
tomorrow is friday, and i cannot wait for the weekend of rain&cold. SWEET.

i am so angry:
it's raining. at home i love rain. i absolutely love falling asleep to the rain hitting the roof. i love watching movies on rainy days. i love driving in the rain. i hate the rain here. i have nothing to do. jessica and i sit in the dorm, pissed off. it is too wet and cold to do anything. oh and joy. it's supposed to rain saturday, sunday, monday, tuesday AND wednesday of next week. i'm going home. it's final. i wish.

speaking of going home...angry point number 2. i found out that finals week i get to stay an extra day than, i'm guessing, everyone else and take a final at EIGHT O'CLOCK PM on thursday, december 11th. sooo not fair. so if anyone wants to blow off school from home and sit with me wednesday and thursday, that would be greatly appreciated!

but on the bright side, following my one month christmas break, i just found out that in february my family might be taking a trip to a FUCKING DUDE RANCH in tuscon, arizona. i seriously could not stop smiling/laughing/fucking dying when i found this out. me and jim (and patti and alan gross of course) at a dude ranch?! oh my goodness i cannot contain my excitement. the only downside is that we're having a smaller christmas so the parents can do the trip. but i'm perfectly content with that. if they help me buy my digital camera, i'm down with a small christmas. which brings me to my next topic: do you remember the show HEY DUDE?! what a good show (jessica hated it but i thought it was funny).

angry note #3. the girls across the hall. they are the most ghetto people ever. horrible rap music and slow jams float under my door nearly 24/7, along with their LOUD voices and BLOOD CURDLING screams at 1am when i'm trying to sleep for my early class. katie can hear them with her headphones on and she's down the hall AND around the corner. kill. that's all i want to do.

andy came up this weekend. we ate amazing food at applebee's and saw a movie, 'matchstick men.' alison lohman is adorable. it was really good after the twist occurred but it was a bit slow. all in all, the weekend was fun. i love that guy.

ms. lohman's hair at the end of of 'mm' motivated me to dye my hair. i'm quite excited, kris is probably going to do it for me, although he believes he is going to fuck it up. he's stupid. jessica agrees that i need to go back to dark, and i miss my red. so i'm thinking a combination of those. we'll see.

i missed my first *a second too late* show ever. i guess it was 'disastrous' according to dan and jim, but i'm sure you guys were fine. they said it was because i wasn't there. psh.

i went to the gym yesterday. i hadn't done anything in a week, so i needed it. i love the feeling after i work out. and the feeling of eating BK afterward. haha it was amazing.

i was talking to my brother last night and we both almost started crying. i miss jim more than anything. he was being so cute, completely reminding me of everything back home. it's not fair that i am seperated from that kid. he is coming up here in TWO WEEKS, and it is going to be a party.

i had another really cute weekend.
friday, kris and i had an adventure. our loft was painted by jessica's wonderful parentals. i got home to the 586 at about 11:30, and sat up and talked with jim until about 2. man i missed him.
saturday, jake decided that me him and jim needed to go to denny's for breakfast. it was so cute. jim made me laugh so hard that i cried. "everytime i walk, i have an orgasm." band practiced. i saw alan, he's cute. and according to joe, scary? the rest of the guys rule. joe gave me about a cajillion hugs and dan was just funny. then, danny and i went to coney to see tony, and then to the mall, I HAD TO GET ANOTHER TICKET FOR THE SHOW BECAUSE I LEFT MINE AT SCHOOL and we just walked around and talked a lot. i <3 that boy. then back to his house it was, he "harassed" a fan of his, tony came over, we chilled, miss jessica came and then the four of us were off to the cursive/blood brothers show. I SAW MIKE while this crazy JAPANESE band was playing...they cracked me up to say the least. the show was amazing, both bands blew me away. the blood brothers have this amazing amount of energy, they are amazing musicians and their live show is off tha hizzo. cursive is one of the best bands i have ever seen live. i danced so much for them. we got semi-lost/turned around on the way out of d-town. some KOOKY cop tried getting us lost even more. but tony found made our way out of that scary, scary place. he's not racist or anything, just wants to live. then coney afterward was fun. ravenswood boys, bahri and adam were there. we laughed a lot, talked about stalkers, "moments", and whatnot. we had a really good night, those boys make me laugh and my best friend rules.
sunday i hung out with jim, drove around, and went back to school. studied my ass off for my math exam today, started feeling sick again.
moday, took my first math exam. yuck, school sucks. i am sick again. my throat and chest feel as if they are going to explode. but it's coo. after classes, TODAY WAS THE BIG DAY. kris and i got our industrial piercings. it definitely looks sweet, hurt, but looks sweet. i'm happy with it, and kris and i are STRONGER! my parents don't know so it'll be a surprise. alan gross might be down it, he might not. not sure. but yeah, now i'm going to go outside because it's nice and i want to read.

oh what a weekend.
friday-forever ending was up at state...which of course was utter chaos. the boys played a FRAT PARTY which was broken up early because of a kid proclaiming "five-oh! five-oh!". it was the last time that jess, kris, and i are going to see them play, so we made the best of it. jessica and i held each other during forget the streets...that is our song. kris and i did our dances. katie, a really cool girl we met on our floor (it's hard to find cool girls on our floor LET ME TELL YOU), came to the show, and fell in love with mr. smak. haha, that's a new one. afterward, we left, andy came to the dorm, and we went to denny's with tom bahri and mark, which was fun, but our denny's is so much nicer at home. then we got back to the dorm around 2 and ended up talking to katie and her friend for like an hour outside in the hall. nice girls.
saturday-jess and i football gamed it up. the game was boring and it was so hot outside, so we left early. went to dinner with andy, he treated, and then met up with our friends andy (yes a different andy, quite confusing!) and adam at this party. those guys are AWESOME, and not just when they're really awesome. they're so funny and so much like jessica and i. i ended up getting in around 3, then talked with jessica for a couple hours. i love her.
sunday-jessica and i did not change out of our pajamas. we watched 'detroit rock city', the vma's, and sat on the computer. it was such a relaxing day. right before we went to bed we were laughing so hard....it was funny. i love her.
today-yet another day of nothing. homework filled our evening tonight.
we're going home next weekend so everyone be ready for a party. cool? i want a band practice to occur as well. work on that, dan. i miss everyone.
oh and by the way, my grandma is the most amazingly cool person alive. and damn cute.
and my best friend rules.

what a goddamn cute weekend i had. i honestly wasn't home for more than an hour and to sleep.
friday-i got home, enzo and jim walked in like two minutes after me. the three of us chilled, took a couple pictures, and talked. then, joe and jake walked into the house. i was greeted with a huge hug from both. jake is so hxc...hahaha. we all sat around for a while, caught up, whatever. we ended up going to this basement show very soon after. it was honestly so much fun. i got to see tom bahri, which made me happy. he told me that forever ending is playing a show up at state on september 5th, which rules. they're playing a frat party. boys in suits, ravenswood, and short of 1st made me smile. aaron bryan is the second cutest person alive and that's all there is to it (enzo is the first cutest, of course). jake fell asleep at the show? it was damn cute, though. joe and i danced to short of 1st. we had a really really good time.
saturday-recording day. all of the band (minus alan) and i set out to ned's yet again, well dan met us there. they finished most of the cd, which was cool. we had a lot of fun, hardcore dancing and whatnot. GIVE IT BACK TO ME. joe made a silly face when he said "me." honestly, the cd is going to be so damn good. i'm excited to hear the finished product, which should be done by today. then, enzo met us up at national's. we laughed soo much. we just sat around talking for like two hours...those boys are amazing. then enzo drove me and joe back home, we dropped off joe, and then me, him, jim and jake all went to jake's to watch a movie. we watched 'money pit.' the entire day was so much fun.
sunday-oh mannn. i went to my cousin's girlfriend's baby shower. i honestly have never seen more pregnant girls. there were 7 girls, aged 16-20, pregnant or with infants. SEVEN. every one of raven's friends that walked in was pregnant. it was absolutely insane. my mom and i just sat there and laughed a lot. my mom rules. showers are retarded in general, but this one was absolutely unorganized and pointless. the presents were good though. and i took the pictures, which was fun. wow, that was honestly a fucking twilight zone, though. immediately after that, we went to jake's house for a bbq. my brother and i were laughing so hard we were crying. we watched 'like mike' with lil bow wow. yeah, that's right, i watched the entire thing. it wasn't good, but it held my interest. whatever. later that night, the plan was to go to the movies with my uncle, aunt, jake and jim. i went over dan's before, picked up pictures i took from the first studio time, and we illed for a few minutes. then we talked on the phone for about 20 minutes while he left me about 55 messages on instant messenger. that boy makes me laugh. when i got to the movies, i had to wait for my family, so i was just standing around looking out the window, drinking my diet coke from mcdonalds. these foreign girls were standing right in front of me, talking, laughing and being gay. well, suddenly foreign gay #1 walks up to me, thinking she's fucking hilarious, takes hold of my cup (the straw is in my mouth), and asks if she "can have some of that." then walks away thinking the joke is on me. her friends are laughing hysterically. FAGS. i thought it was funny though. we ended up seeing 'freddy vs. jason'...hahahaha it was so damn funny. the girl from destiny's child was in it. jim and i got a kick out of that. it was so bad it was funny. whatever, we all laughed a lot.

my weekend was honestly so much fun...and now i'm back at school. i've been here all day, jess should be getting back soon. thank god, i'm so bored.

i am starting to get sleepy right now. but i've been wide awake all night. but honestly, today was not my day.
aerobics hurt my knees.
my TE150 class is THREE HOURS LONG. i had no idea until i went to it tonight. 6-8:50. completely sucks, but at least it's something relevent to what i want to do.
i thought i lost my ID card (ie the thing that gives me my food!), but i ended up finding it....just 6 minutes too late to catch dinner.
i had mcdonalds though, so all was good.
then jessica and i just sat around the dorm, we laughed a lot. played some funny music. man, that girl rules hardcore whoa.
i am going home tomorrow. i am so excited to see my boys. and my parents, they're adorable.
i'm not going to see this one person, but i think that it's for the better. i need to forget him. i wish i didn't have to. things between us near the end of summer were so damn cute. and it's simply not fair. who knows what could've happened if i didn't leave. but whatever, he's forgotten me, so i should just make us even.
